Elcell expands coverage area

Baku. Aynur Valiyeva - APA-Economics. Elcell, being the provider of wireless broadband Internet service based on HC-SDMB (iBurst) technology, announces the beginning of its commercial activities in Gandja as of March 01, 2010.

The trial period has been completed and Gandja has become the second city where elcell network launched its activities. So far the coverage zone of the network includes the main territory of the city.

Having connected to the network, any subscriber can get access to Internet and use other elcell services in any area of coverage with no payment for roaming.

Uniform tariff rates of elcell are valid in Gandja as well. People of Gandja can get wireless modems and make service payments at Turkan Telecom, network of stores that is our partner. You can also pay for elcell services online. More detailed information of types of payments is available at www.elcell.az , section â€œPayment optionsâ€.

At present weâ€™re working on the improvement of service quality in the suburbs of Baku and in the nearest future two more cities are going to be included into elcell network â€“ Khirdalan and Sumgayit. Residents of some more 20 large cities are going to be provided with wireless broadband internet connection within 2010.
