Zakir Garalov meets with chairman of Russian Investigative Committee

Noting that the relations between the two countries in the legal sphere are developing, Zakir Garalov said judicial reforms are being carried out. Mentioning Alexander Bastrykin’s visit to Azerbaijan in 2008, Zakir Garalov said Cooperation Program signed on September 28, 2010 as a result of the meeting is of great importance for the law-enforcement bodies of both countries, contributed to developing mutual relations and legal cooperation.

Alexander Bastrykin said Russia attaches great importance to the enhancement of legal cooperation, noted that there are vast prospects to enhance the relations, added they are interested in the development of bilateral relations.

The sides exchanged views on the protection of rights and freedoms of the citizens of both countries, fight against crimes, terrorism and extremism, spoke about the mutual activity within the international organizations, improvement of legal framework in the field of legal cooperation, discussed issues of mutual interests, expressed confidence that the bilateral relations will be further developed.
