APA’s south bureau reports that at present, trucks are passing the checkpoint on schedule.
Drivers, who are carrying more than 30 tonnes of materials and other products, are reducing their cargo in accordance with the new rules applied by Iran and crossing Nakhchivan.
Fuel tankers intended to go to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic have already returned to Baku.
Those trucks have reportedly gone to Nakhchivan through Azerbaijan-Georgia and Georgia-Turkey borders.
At present, the situation at Azerbaijan’s Bilasuvar checkpoint is stable.
Deputy chief of Bilasuvar Customs Department of the State Customs Committee Mirrafig Mirsultanov also told APA’s south bureau that the queue had already ended at the checkpoint.
