Quake hits Iran-Azerbaijan border

APA reports that quoting the Seismological Service Center of the Institute of Geophysics, University of Tehran that the epicenter of the quake was in Ashigli village of Iran’s East Azerbaijan province. 2.5-magnitude quake was recorded at the depth of 12 km on December 2 at 14:36 Baku time (at 14:06 Tehran time). The quake was also felt in Azerbaijan’s Zangilan region occupied by Armenia.

The quake occurred 20 km away Ashigli (Iran), 23 km away Minjivan (Azerbaijan) and 29 km away Zangilan (Azerbaijan). No causalities were reported.
