Personal data of the defendants were specified at the hearing presided by judge Novruz Karimov.
Hashimli said that his lawyers had not been allowed participating in the hearing and meeting with him at the jail. Judge Novruz Karimov noted Hashimli’s lawyer Elchin Sadigov submitted an order to the court, but missed the hearing, other lawyer Bahruz Bayramov was present.
Lawyer Bahruz Bayramov said the court did not allow meeting with Parviz Hashimli and they could not defend Hashimli as could not get familiar with the case.
It was known at the hearing that Tavakkul Gurbanov could not afford a lawyer.
The court passed a decision to solve Gurbanov’s problem, postpone the hearing so that Hashimli’s lawyers can get familiar with the case.
The hearing will be held on March 4.
