The press service of Prosecutor General’s Office told APA that all necessary and urgent measures and search operations have been continued by the investigative group consisting of employees of the Interior Ministry and prosecuting agencies for detailed and objective investigation of the criminal case launched on the killing of three persons and wounding of one in Zagatala region on November 24.
As a result of the operations, firearms and ammunitions, narcotic substances and other things that are important for the criminal case were seized as material evidence, a number of witnesses were questioned, relevant examinations were conducted and other necessary measures were taken.
Samir Osmanov, Vugar Layijov, Sabir Osmanov, Royal Saramanov, Parviz Garayev, Vusal Aligayev, Aydin Sayilov and Omar Orujov faced charges under Criminal Code’s articles 120.2.1 (committed by group of persons, on preliminary arrangement by group of persons, by organized group or criminal community (organization)), 120.2.2, 120.2.7 (deliberate murder of two or more persons), 120.2.1, 120.2.2, 120.2.7, 221.3 (the hooliganism committed with application of a weapon or subjects, used as the weapon) and 228.2.1 (Illegal purchase, transfer, selling, storage, transportation and carrying of fire-arms, accessories to it, supplies, explosives) and have been sent to pretrial detention.
As a result of the search operations, another murderer Badalov Ragib Rasim was detained on December 9.
Investigation is underway at the Grave Crimes Department of Prosecutor General’s Office.
