Two dead, one injured in explosion in Baku filling station - <span style="color: red;">UPDATED 1 - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

APA’s correspondent reports from the site that the explosion occurred during the construction works in LUKOIL filling station in Ramiz Guliyev street #6, Khatai district. As a result, one of the workers died at the site, another at a hospital.

Baku City Emergency and Urgent Medical Aid Station told APA that the station received the call on the accident at 16:20: “As a result of the explosion, Shamkhal Orujov died at the site. The injured Hasrat Imamverdiyev was taken to Neurosurgical Hospital by citizens and died there. Moreover, 27-year-old Turab Hashimov was also placed at Neurosurgical Hospital. He is in a critical condition.”

During the explosion, Mitsubishi (10 PK 441) burnt and became worthless.

Investigation is underway by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, police and prosecuting officers.

Baku – APA. An explosion has occurred in a filling station in Baku.

APA reports that it happened in one of the filling stations of LUKOIL company in Ramiz Guliyev street, Khatai district.

According to preliminary information, one person died as a result of the accident.
