Zagatala region police office told APA that as a result of search operations, Balaken-resident Vugar Lahijov, driver of VAZ-2107 from which fire was opened at a car with 4 passengers was detained.
Currently, search operation is underway to detain other perpetrators.
A Hyundai driven by Balaken-resident Vusal Aliyev was shot at in Yukhari Tala village of Zagatala region by an unidentified person in VAZ-2107 on November 24 at 16:00.
Passengers - Balaken resident Kamil Hushanov, Baku residents Vasif Jafarov and Vugar Rajabov died on the spot, driver Aligayev was wounded.
As a result of search operations it was revealed that the incident was committed by Balaken resident Samir Osmanov.
A criminal case has been launched on the fact.
The police and the prosecuting authorities are conducting investigation and search operations to detain the person suspected of committing the crime.
