Press service of the General Prosecutor’s Office told APA that on January 8 at about 17:00, Zaur Tarlanov, who lives in Sahil settlement of Garadagh district, shot dead Javid and Jahid Rahimov, who were in Lexus car in the entrance of the settlement , with his Winchester as a result of dispute, and fled the site.
The scene and bodies were immediately examined, material evidences were taken and other necessary procedures were carried out.
The Garadagh District Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation under article #120.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code.
As a result of immediate investigation and search operations carried out by employees of the District Police Office and Prosecutor’s Office, Tarlanov, who is suspected of committing the crime, was detained and involved in the investigation.
The investigation is underway on the fact.
