Court reduces Yadigar Sadigov’s prison sentence

The court passed a verdict, Attorney Adil Ismayilov told APA. According to the verdict, the appeal was partially sustained, and Sadigov’s prison sentence was reduced from 4 years to 3 years and 6 months.

Yadigar Sadigov was detained on June 27, 2013. He is charged with hooliganism.

The Lankaran District Court sentenced Sadigov to 6 years in prison. On July 22, 2014 the Baku Court of Appeal reduced his prison sentence to 4 years. Later on, he filed an appeal to the Supreme Court.
