Azerbaijani journalist of Ukraineâ€™s Channel 5: My right hand was broken, I was hurt in face in Kiev clashes

Chairman of United Ukrainian Azerbaijani Congress Rovshan Tagiyev told APA that it happened on the night of February 18-19. Journalist of Channel 5, Ukrainian citizen Azad Safarov was beaten by special task forces and seriously injured.

Safarov confirmed the fact to APA. He said cameraman of the channel was also beaten.

“My hand was broken, I was hurt in face. Our camera was broken, the cameraman was injured. I was discharged after receiving first aid. Now I am at home, feel well,” he said.
