Azerbaijani Interior Ministry issues statement on Neftchala resident missing in his car

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The Interior Ministry has issued a statement on the Neftchala resident who has gone missing in his car.

The Interior Ministry told APA that resident of Yukhari Garamanli village of Neftchala region, 54-year-old Yasin Adalat Rustamov appealed to the Regional Police Office saying that on February 12 at 20:00, his brother 50-year-old Kamal Rustamov left home by his car “VAZ-21011” and never returned.

As a result of the investigation, the car owned by Rustamov was found burnt in Yukhari Garamanli village.

Criminal case has been launched on the fact.

Investigation is underway.

Rustamov’s brother told APA that his brother Kamal was a taxi driver. On February 12, at 20:00, unknown persons called his brother and asked to take them somewhere. VAZ 21011 (47***421) driven by Kamal was found burnt in the neighboring Pirabba village. His shoe was also found near the car. No body was found in the car by the police.

Employees of Neftchala Police Office are currently carrying out investigation. The police office is unavailable for comment.
