Baku. Fuad Jafarov – APA. The Prosecutor General’s Office has released information about the arrest of the deputy to the chief physician of the Sabirabad district Central Hospital.
The Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General has investigated an appeal submitted by a Sabirabad district resident about the chairperson of the Military-Medical Commission of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription’s regional department in Sabirabad demanding bribe from him, the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA.
On the basis of the appeal, the Anti-Corruption Department under Prosecutor General took all necessary operational measures. As a result, chairperson of the Military-Medical Commission of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription’s regional department in Sabirabad, deputy to the chief physician of the Sabirabad district Central Hospital Ravil Musayev was caught red handed on 3 Feb. 2015 in his service room while receiving AZN 200 out of an amount of AZN 500 which he had demanded for himself from the district resident in exchange for formalizing necessary medical documents required for his son to be registered as ineligible for military service.
A criminal case was launched against R. Musayev under the Criminal Code’s article 311.1 (reception of bribe). He has been put in pretrial detention.
