The accident took place today at 1:00 PM in Basgal village, Ismayilli, at the 21st km of the Mughanli-Ismayilli road, APA’s local Bureau reported.
A KIA Sorento collided with a BMW (license plate 10-YP-795) of the State Traffic Police Department’s Road Patrol Service Regiment.
Police officers in the BMW – Goychay district residents Mahmud Musayev (1967) and Vusal Bialiyev (1987) – and passengers in the KIA Sorento – Masalli district residents Eldarf Abulfazli (1991) and Mahammad Huseynli (1991) and Baku city resident Huseyn Huseynli (1994) received bodily injuries of varying severity.
They were admitted to the intensive care and traumatology departments at the Ismayilli Central District Hospital. Two of the injured were later sent to Baku for treatment.
The Ismayilli District Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the fact.
