Azerbaijan reveals names of government agencies with more corruption-related cases

Department Chief Kamran Aliyev told journalists that Anti-Corruption Department received complaints regarding all fields during the reporting period.

4 criminal cases related with social protection of the population, 14 related with education, 6 related with local executive authorities, 1 related with State Committee on Property Issues, 9 related with municipalities, 14 related with health, 1 related with culture and tourism, 2 related with agriculture, 4 related with Ministry of Emergency Situations, 2 related with justice, 1 related with Prosecutor's Office and others were investigated and sent to the courts.

Aliyev reiterated that the fight against corruption in the country is not just a campaign: “Serious work is being done to fight against corruption at the state level. Measures will be continued against persons accused of corruption regardless of their positions.”
