Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. The spouse and the son of businessman Rovshan Gasimov, a member of the Azerbaijani Diaspora who had been killed by separatists in Ukraine’s Krasny Luch city, were freed from captivity.
Rovshan Gasimov’s brother, Chairman of the Krasny Luch Azerbaijanis Community Rashid Gasimov said in a statement to APA his brother’s family is currently in the city of Torez controlled by Ukrainian forces in Donetsk.
He also said despite his borther’s family was released, his mother Khuraman Gasimova, brothers Rauf and Rasim Gasimovs are still in the area controlled by separatists: “They are currently in a small village controlled by separatists in the vicinity of the city of Snezhnoe near the border with Russia. We’ve visited everywhere and been trying every way to set them free, but there’s no result yet”.
He said his mother and Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov are cousins.
Note that, the Sadigovs are originally from Khatinli village of Tovuz and have a large farm work in Luhansk Province.
