Binagadi District Police Office told APA that the ammunitions were found in the litter-bin in Shamsi Rahimov st 54.
The investigation is underway on the fact.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations told APA that on January 17, after the call received by 112 service that there are a great deal of ammunitions at the intersection between Shamsi Rahimov street and Ziya Bunyadov avenue, dog and pyrotechnic specialists of the Special Risk Rescue Service arrived at the site.
The inspection of the site found out that a great deal of ammunitions were detected by district police officer in the disposal site.
Specialists of the Special Risk Rescue Service and law-enforcement forces have jointly evacuated the people and started a search operation restricting the entry of unauthorized persons to the area.
The inspection revealed that these ammunitions are fit for fight:
- PGD-9 anti-tank grenade launcher shell (one unit)
- 6-barrel grenade launcher (one unit)
- RGD-5 hand grenade (37 units)
- F-1 hand grenade (56 units)
- UZRGM fuse for hand grenade (103 units)
- VOG-17 hand grenade (38 units)
- SVD sniper rifle with 5,45 mm (2 units)
- Charger for SVD sniper rifle with 5,45 mm (one unit)
- AKSU slot machine with 5,45 caliber (15 units)
- RPK machine gun with 5,45 caliber (one unit)
- AKA slot machine with 5,45 caliber (one unit)
- AKS slot machine with 5,45 caliber (6 units)
- AKM slot machine with 7,62 caliber (2 units)
- Cartridge for AK slot machine with 7,62 caliber (23680 units)
- Cartridge for AK slot machine with 5,45 caliber (6480 units)
- Cartridge for AK slot machine with 5,6 caliber (26 units)
- Charger for AK slot machine (36 units)
- Ground flare (5 units)
- Smoke bomb (4 units)
- 16-gauge gun (one unit)
- TOZ-8 gun (one unit)
