The young man climbed on the bridge near the "Koroglu” metro station and announced his intention to commit suicide. Eyewitnesses immediately informed the police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations about the incident.
Rescue Service Staff of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan and Police were quickly involved at the scene. All attempts to prevent the suicide were unsuccessful - the young man threw himself off a bridge.
Seriously injured 20-year-old young man was hospitalized in a city hospital number 3.
According to APA referring the hospital, despite all the attempts of doctors to save the boy failed. Identity of the deceased is not yet defined.
