Three Azerbaijani citizens who were members of the crew of the foreign cargo ship “Royad Mammadov” were hospitalized following a drone attack on the vessel in the Black Sea near the coast of Romania, the Press Service of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
It was noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating with Azerbaijan’s diplomatic missions and the competent authorities of the relevant countries regarding the incident.
“Necessary measures are being taken to provide our citizens with the required medical and consular assistance, as well as to carry out the relevant procedures for repatriating the bodies of our citizens who were killed,” the ministry said.
