In January–September 2026, 32,380 vehicles were transported by ferries of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC (ASCO). This is 12% more compared to the 28,847 vehicles recorded in the same period last year, APA-Economics reports, citing ASCO.
According to the statement, the total weight of vehicles transported by ferries during the reporting period amounted to 837,557 tons. In the same period last year, this figure was 725,966 tons, representing a 15% increase year-on-year.
In January–September, the volume of transit vehicle transportation by ferries reached 776,744 tons. This is 11% more than the figure recorded in the same period last year.
