The fire extinguishing operation on the supply ship in the Caspian Sea is being continued without interruption, Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) told APA.
The Ministry noted that, as a result of the measures taken, professional firefighters equipped with appropriate tools from the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations have boarded the vessel and started firefighting efforts directly within the ship's internal compartments.
In addition, to ensure the continuity of the fire extinguishing operation, the Ministry's Aviation Unit's helicopter is transporting the necessary equipment to the site.
