Within the framework of measures to ensure reliable protection of the state border and fight against the illegal circulation of drugs, a large amount of drugs was prevented from being smuggled into the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the State Border Service told APA.
Thus, on November 27 at 17:30, as a result of the operations of the State Border Service Border Troops Command in the service area of the Goytepe border detachment, a total weight of 79 kilograms and 450 grams of narcotics (78 kg and 400 grams of marijuana, 1 kg and 50 grams of opium), 1000 units of narcotic methadone M-40 and 30 units Tamol-X 225 mg-Tramadol pills were found and seized.
Operational-investigative measures are being continued.
