Armenian media have again reported that Lebanese mercenary terrorist Eulcekcian Viken Abraham, sentenced to 20 years in prison for fighting in Karabakh, has been on a hunger strike for over a month, APA reports.

However, according to information obtained by APA from reliable sources, the latest information published by the Armenian media about the Lebanese mercenary's hunger strike is untrue. Armenian media is once again raising the issue without any basis.

Note that, in a criminal case initiated by the State Security Service, Viken Eulcekcian was held criminally liable under Articles 114.3 (Mercenary), 214.2.1 and 214.2.3 (Terrorism), 228.2.1 (Illegal acquisition, storage, transportation and carrying of firearms and ammunition), 279.1 (Creating armed formations not provided for by law) and 318.2 (Illegal crossing of the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Viken Eulcekcian was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2021.
