Baku. Kamala Guliyeva -APA. 140 percent of monthly precipitation (73 mm) fell to Lankaran, 60% to Astara (50 mm), 112% to Shamakhi (28 mm), 56% to Yardimli (24 mm), 250% to Gabaal, Salyan. Department chief of the Weather Forecast Bureau of the Hydro-Meteorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Gulshad Mammadova told APA that precipitation in Altiaghaj was 7 mm, Goychay – 6mm, Bilasuvar – 3 mm, Imishli, Jafarkhan, Goygol – 1 mm, Dashkesen, Sheki, Mingehevir, Yevlakh – 0.4-0.7. 188 percent of monthly precipitation (15 mm) fell in Sumgayit. 150 percent fell in Mashtaga, 117 percent – in Dashkesen. The intermittent flood and torrent was recorded in the some mountainous rivers of Sheki and Balaken regions due to the precipitations on August 23-24.

Mammadova said that the rainy weather, soft north-west wind is expected in Baku during the next two days. The temperature will be 18…21 C at night, 22…27 C in the daytime. The changeable cloudy, mainly rainless weather is expected in Baku on August 28. The unstable weather will continue in the Azerbaijani regions on August 29. Thus, the rainy weather is expected, the precipitations will have a local torrential character and will be intensive.
