Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations releases statement on damage caused to several regions by heavy rains

APA reports quoting the Ministryâ€™s website that the rainy weather has been observed in some territories of the republic for the past few days. The water level in the rivers situated in Balakan region raised, the cellars and courtyard areas of some dwelling houses in the regionâ€™s Gabagchol settlement, Sharif and Ititala villages remained under rain waters, as well as the cellars and courtyard areas of private houses in Goranboy regionâ€™s Veyisli and Rahimli villages and the side of Baku-Gazakh highway (320th km) remained under rain waters.

The corresponding forces of the ministry and relevant organizations ensure the carrying out of necessary works in the abovementioned villages, as well as the rain waters in the side of Baku-Gazakh highway (320th km) are directed to the sowing areas via ministryâ€™s personnel and equipment.
