Human Rights Commissioner meets with outgoing head of OSCE Office in Baku

Baku â€“ APA. Human Rights Commissioner of Azerbaijan Elmira Suleymanova met with outgoing head of the OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel, Commissionerâ€™s press service told APA. Suleymanova said her office had very close relationship with the OSCE representation in Baku and confidence-based mutual relations were very important. She thanked Cankorel for organizing workshops, trainings for the Ombudspersonâ€™s office staff members on the implementation of facultative protocol of the UN anti-torture convention and national preventive mechanism.
The guest called the Ombudspersonâ€™s office as very important institution in Azerbaijan and appreciated its contributions and cooperation between it and his office. He said it was very useful cooperation with the Azerbaijani Human Rights Commissioner who is known and recognized in the world and wished her successes in the field of protection of human rights. He said he was ending his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan with good impression.
Suleymanova wished him more achievements in his further activity.
