State Border Service finds 112 wanted persons by law-enforcement bodies and hands over them to relevant bodies

57 detainees are Azerbaijani citizens, 4 from Islamic Republic of Iran, 4 from Pakistan, 3 from Hungary, 3 from Bangladesh, 2 from Uzbekistan, 1 from Moldova, 1 from Nigeria. 54 persons in 28 cases were detained in border checkpoints with false documents, 2 persons in 2 cases with document belonging to the other person, 1 person in 1 case for trespassing. The relative measures were taken on 31 persons in 10 cases, who detained for violating the rules of border regime in green border. 112 wanted persons were detained by Azerbaijani law enforcement bodies and handed over to the corresponding bodies as a result of anti-crime measures.

As a result of the measures taken to combat illicit drug trafficking, 720 g drugs in 6 cases, including 555 g heroin, 3 g opium, 163 g various goof-balls were seized.

Two residents of Lankaran region, who were returning from Iran, were detained in Astara border checkpoint on May 20. 24 g heroin were found in the body of Tagiyev Vusala Vagif, born in 1979, 82 g heroin in the body of Adigozalov Sabuhi Vagif, born in 1984. The analogical case occurred in Astara border checkpoint on May 23. Residents of Baku city, Mammadova Sayyara Majid, born in 1959, Isayeva Khanim Aflatun, born in 1982, were detained with 125 g and 100 g heroines in their bodies.

Smuggled goods worth AZN 71.400 in 74 cases, including 1 rubber boat, 257 mobile phones, 1061 mobile phone accessories, 883 vodkas, 82 wines, 614 cigarette boxes, 13100 DVD disks, 11 religious books, various food, industry and agricultural products were seized as a result of anti-smuggle activity.

As a result of protection sea borders, 23 trespassers were detained in 13 cases, 45800 meters net and 46300 gaffs were seized.
