Spokesman for Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office Eldar Sultanov said criminal case was launched on Majidli Elnur Abdulla on article 281.1 (open challenges against the state) of the Criminal Code on April 1, 2011, Department on Grave Crimes of the Prosecutor General’s Office was commissioned to carry out initial investigation. Decision was passed to bring Elnur Majidli to justice.
On June 2, 2011, decision was passed to suspend the criminal proceedings against Elnur Majidli.
