Head of investigation group Fazil Hasanaliyev: Measures are being continued to determine the organizers of the April 2 action

He noted that the investigation of the criminal case launched by Baku prosecutorâ€™s office on articles 233 (organizing and taking active part in actions aiming to violate public order) and 315 (showing resistance or using force against government representative) of the Criminal Code is being continued.
â€œIn order to ensure thorough and objective investigation, a number of witnesses have been interrogated, various examinations held, the number of the sufferers, the volume of the damage to the legal and physical persons determined, 14 people, who took active part in the crime, including the persons, who organized and led the unauthorized action, have been prosecuted criminally. The investigation regarding a group of them is about to end. The investigation regarding them will be completed and the materials of the criminal case will be submitted to court in accordance with the requirements of the criminal procedure law,â€ he said.

According to Fazil Hasanaliyev, measures are being continued to determine the organizers of the April 2 action.
â€œInvestigation is underway concerning those who are prosecuted criminally, who organized and led the unauthorized action, including other participants. Investigation is being continued to determine the other persons, who participated in organizing the action and took active part in the crime,â€ he said.
