122 groups committing various crimes in Baku during 4 months of this year brought to responsibility

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. The operational conference was held in Baku City Main Police Office. APA reports that the meeting was dedicated to the works conducted in Baku city police bodies in the sphere of crime against property.

Chief of Crime Investigation Department of Baku City Main Police Office Aliaslan Aghayev made a report at the meeting. Aghayev noted that the decrease in the number of crimes against property was observed in 2010 in comparison with 2009. the clearance of theft of state and municipal property improved to 13.6%, auto theft to 1.4%, hijacking of means of transport to 8.2%, cattle-lifting to 16.4% as a result of measures taken during the year. The number of recorded private property theft in comparison with the relevant period decreased to 32, assault related to robbery to 10. During the report period, 8 groups committing 13 assaults related to robbery, 18 groups committing 20 robberies, 9 groups committing 12 residential burglary, 53 groups committing personal theft, 12 groups committing theft from a car, 5 groups committing pick pocketing, 6 groups committing 33 roguishness, 11 groups committing state property theft were determined and brought to responsibility.

It was noted that the relevant defects and faults were also observed in the sphere of struggle against crime against property.
Head of Baku City Main Police Office Rafig Abbasov summed the operational meeting and gave his tasks and recommendations.
