Four more persons arrested over unauthorized action of believers outside Azerbaijani Education Ministry

The lawyer said that Rashad, Chingiz and two others, whose names he do not know, were arrested.
â€œFour more persons were arrested on Saturday and Sunday. As far as I know they faced similar charges,â€ Dilgem Agayev said the number of the detainees reached 9.

65 persons, who attempted to hold an unauthorized action, violated public order and resisted to the police on May 6, were detained. Five of them faced charges on articles 221.2 and 221.3 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code. 38 of the detainees were released after having been warned. The materials gathered about 22 persons were submitted to the district courts. Baku prosecutorâ€™s office has launched criminal case on articles 221.2.1 (hooliganism by a group of persons) and 221.2.2 (showing resistance to government representative preventing the violation of public order) of the Criminal Code. Baku Main Police Office is carrying out the investigation.
