Woman accused of killing two in Azerbaijan eight years ago arrested in Turkey

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The woman accused of killing two in Azerbaijan eight years ago was arrested, Interior Ministry’s press service told APA. As a result of the operations carried out by Khatai district police, citizen of Georgia Raina Ahmadova, who had been wanted on charges of 120.2.1 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code was detained in Turkey and brought to the republic.

The murder was committed on April 2, 2003. Citizen of Georgia Ramin Askarov and his mother Goychak Askarova, 54, were killed in their house.

The investigations found out that the crime was committed by Nazim Ajalov, 49, and his wife Raina Ahmadova, 38. Nazim Ajalov was detained in 2009. Raina Ahmadova fled to Turkey.
