Azerbaijani Ambassador to Austria Fuad Ismayilovâ€™s body brought to Baku

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. The body of Azerbaijani Ambassador to Austria Fuad Ismayilov, who died in Vienna, was brought by Vienna-Baku flight to Baku. According to APA, bid farewell will be held in Tazapir Mosque at 12.00-15.00 on Friday and funerals will begin at 15.00.

Ambassador Fuad Ismayilov died in Vienna Wednesday morning after siege of illness at the age of 43. He was Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Austria, permanent representative to UN Office in Vienna, OSCE, IAEA, ambassador to Slovenia and Slovakia. Fuad Ismayilov was born in Baku in 1968 to the family of intellectuals. He graduated from the School of Oriental Studies of the Baku State University. He began his carrier in Assa-Irada Independent News Agency. He worked in the foreign relations department of the Presidential Administration in 1992-1995, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1998-2005. He was appointed to the post of ambassador to Austria on March 7, 2005. For his useful activity, he was decorated with the jubilee medal on 90th anniversary of the diplomatic service of the Republic of Azerbaijan (1919-2009). Fuad Ismayilov played great role in the development of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Austriaâ€.
