One of close friends of GEN Ltdâ€™s head declared wanted via Interpol

Seyidov is accused under the article #178 (swindle) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. According to information posted on Interpolâ€™s website, Seyidov has been declared internationally wanted by Khatayi District Police Office. But now he is sought by Yasamal District Police Office.

Remind that, recently, operating officer of Police Department #26 of Yasamal District Police Office Ramiz Gahramanov told APA that Seyidov was released. But thereupon, criminal case related to GEN Ltd has been launched again and he had been declared wanted in connection with this criminal case.

It is reported that at present, Seyidov is not in Azerbaijan.

Note that, GEN Ltd head Elbrus Aliyev and other 17 persons misappropriated properties of different people. Accused Seyidov was one of close friends of Elbrus Aliyev. Though at first number of accused persons were 18, thereafter some of them were released. On the basis of decision of the Court of Grave Crimes, Elbrus Aliyev was sentenced to 12 years in prison, employees Aliyar Abbasov â€“ 10, Habib Aghayev â€“ 10, Nabi Mammadov â€“ 11, Asif Alamov â€“ 10, Ramin Aliyev â€“ 10, Kamran Mammadov â€“ 9, Ilkin Safarov â€“ 9, Mehpara Jafarzadeh â€“ 7. According to the indictment, property all of them were confiscated.
