Ganja City’s police told APA that 81-year old Siddiga Aliyeva murdered last night was mother of the deputy chief of the Azerbaijan Interior Ministry’s Police Academy Mahir Ahmadov. The murder was committed for purpose of robbery.
Siddiga Ibrahim Aliyeva, 81 was found dead in her apartment at Aziz Aliyev Street in Ganja. The operative group of investigators arrived at site. They examined the body and identified that she was strangled with scarf. Her jewels and money were stolen.
The prosecutor’s office of Ganja City launched criminal investigation under article 120.2.5 (murder for greedy purposes or contract murder).
Police is conducting operational searches to identify unknown killer or killers.
