Baku. Victoria Dementieva – APA. The situation in Egypt stabilizes and hotline calls at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Cairo reduce, First Secretary of the Embassy Elnur Ismayilov told APA. He said 171 Azerbaijanis were evacuated from Egypt because of mass riots there: “The situation is stabilizing, the schools were opened. The number of Azerbaijani citizens contacting the embassy’s hotline reducesâ€.
Speaking about the investigation of the killing of the embassy’s staff member Nijat Gojayev in Cairo, Elnur Islamyilov said Ambassador Shahin Abdullayev was regularly asking the relevant organizations about that, but there has been no progress yet.
