Baku City Prosecutor’s Office makes public reasons of exploison in hostel

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. Baku City Prosecutorâ€™s Office has released information about the explosion, took place in the hostel where IDPs lived in. According to press service of Office, inhabitant of Zangilan region Rahman Jafarov, who settled on 2nd floor of hostel, located in Yasamal District, Sharifzadeh Street 1, belonging to Azerbaijan Technical University, died of injury, as the result of explosion of gas cylinder.

Prosecutor’s Office employees have controlled the accident site, external examination of body was conducted with the participation of forensic medical expert, the body was sent to Yasamal District Department of Forensic Medical Examination and Pathologic Anatomy Unit for internal examination.

Criminal Case was launched on the fact under article of 124 of Criminal Code.

According to information, R. Jafarov was master and used the gas cylinder for technical works, which he kept it in the kitchen. As the result of gas leak, gas accumulation was created in the room. He switched on the light and explosion took place. He was injured and dead of injury.

Bagirova Safura was injured and hospitalized. Other residents â€“ Bagirov Vagif, Mammadov Anar and Huseynova Saltanat leaved the hospital after first aid.
