Chinese citizenâ€™s death in Azerbaijan investigated

According to the report, on November 15, 2010 at about 13.00, Garadagh District police office informed the Garadagh prosecutorâ€™s office that citizen of the Peopleâ€™s Republic of China Guan Zhengquan, born in Jiangsu province of the Peopleâ€™s Republic of China in 1967, working as an engineer for CBMI Company operated in the territory of Garadagh Cement Joint-Stock Company and living in the residential hotel located at 16th kilometer of Salyan highway, Garadagh district, Baku City, was seriously injured as a result of fall onto the 7-mm iron layer of 8,5x3 size and taken to the Clinic Medical Center where he died at 17.00.

According to that report, experts of the prosecutorâ€™s office together with medical-forensic experts examined the scene of accident and body. The body was sent to the Garadgh district unit of the Forensic-Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy Merger of the Health Ministry for its internal examination.

Criminal investigation was launched on the fact under the Article 162.2 (violation of labor security rules) and forensic-medical examination group was established to investigate Guan Zhengquanâ€™s death reasons.

The investigation is conducted by the district prosecutorâ€™s office.
