Former candidate Bakhtiyar Hajiyev detained on Azerbaijan-Georgia border

Baku - APA. Former candidate for parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, Bakhtiyar Hajiyev has been arrested, APA reports. Hajiyev has been detained by officers of State Border Service of Azerbaijan at “Qirmizi Korpu†frontier post, while passing the territory of Georgia on November 18. The causes of his arrest have not been made public yet.
Press service of the State Border Service told APA that it would speak about Hajiyev’s detention after the investigations.
Note that, Hajiyev was nominated from Yasamal III Constituency #17 during parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan on November 12.
