Ten dead, over 200 injured in Guinea violence

Baku – APA. Ten people have been killed and 215 others injured in violence in Guinea since election results were announced earlier this week, pan-African rights group RADDHO said on Wednesday, APA reports quoting “Reutersâ€.
The Dakar-based group said the ethnic and political violence had been made worse by the heavy-handed reaction of the security forces. The leading bauxite-exporting nation has been hit by pockets of often ethnically-driven violence since veteran opposition leader Alpha Conde, a Malinke, was named winner of a tense and tight November 7 run-off against Cellou Dalein Diallo, a Peul.
