Inspector of State Traffic Police Office Mahmud Magsudov told APA’s local bureau that the accident happened on the 242nd km of the highway near Alpoud village of Ujar at 8.30 on November 14. VAZ 2107 driven by Valiyev Arif Tahir, 23, resident of Jorat settlement of Sumgayit, collided with VAZ 2102 owned by Suleymanov Elman Ibrahim, 31, resident of Gapanli village of Terter. Both drivers and passengers Valiyev Tahir Isakhan, 43, and Guliyev Gambar Isa, 61, were taken to Ujar central hospital. The owner of VAZ 2107, the driver’s father Tahir Valiyev died in hospital.
State Traffic Police Office has launched criminal case on the fact, investigation is underway.
