The incident was recorded today in Shishtapa village of the region. “Mercedes†collided with “VAZ-2107†moving on the opposite side of the motor road. 5 died, 2 were injured as a result of the accident.
Shamkir Region Police Office told APA that the incident was recorded on the 1st km of Shamkir-Shishtapa road. As a result of the accident, driver of “Mercedes†(57 BN 300) Chingiz Ibrahimov, 22, driver of “VAZ-2107†Elchin Hajiyev, 34, passengers – Ramin Huseynov, 10, Khayala Ibrahimova, 33, and one more 25-30 years old unknown man died at the site. Other two passengers – Mobil Hasanov, 16 and Sadegul Ibrahimova, 46 were taken to Shamkir Central Region Hospital.
Criminal case has been launched on the fact, investigation is underway.
