Firefighter’s Brigade was immediately sent to the site. Department chief of State Firefighting Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Akbar Novruzov told APA.
To him, the fire covered 20 sq m of area of two-room flat which total floor space was 70 sq m. No one was injured.
Related bodies are conducting investigation at the site. The causes of the fire aren’t known yet.
Novruzov also noted that firefighting vehicles couldn’t arrive at the site in time because of the traffic jam.
Note that, the fire broke up on the third floor of the three-storeyed building at 13:55.
This building is situated in front of the second building of Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.
