The stabilization of this rate is serving to preparation of rich economic heritage for future generations,” President Abdullah Gül's senior economy advisor DurmuÅŸ Yılmaz told APA’s Turkey correspondent.
According to Yılmaz, the stable economic growth also contributes to the diversification of non-oil sector: “Azerbaijan’s economy should be involved in non-oil investments and this process is currently going on.”
Durmuş Yılmaz, who was a president of the Central Bank of Turkey in 2006-2011, was able to maintain the autonomy of the Central Bank in pursing the monetary policy of the state and inflation went down to single digit.
In 2011, President Abdullah Gül appointed DurmuÅŸ Yılmaz as chief economy advisor.
