Turkish Ambassador: â€œConstruction works within TANAP project will be started late in the yearâ€

Baku. Shamil Alibeyli – APA. “TANAP, the joint project of Azerbaijan and Turkey, is moving on very well. Our partners expressed their satisfaction with the progress of the project at meetings here. All works are being continued in accordance with plan. The construction works of the project are expected to be started late in the year, Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan Ismayil Alper Coskun told journalists, APA reports.

Touching upon the construction of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, the ambassador said that the project is planned to be competed next year: “This railway will be able to connect China and London. The works are being continued appropriately. I should note that the project is important not only for region, but also at the global level.”
