Baku. Anakhanum Idoyatova – APA. The program of European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso's visit to Azerbaijan has been publicized. During the visit Barroso will meet Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and hold a speech at the ADA University (Diplomatic Academy) on "EU-Azerbaijan – new opportunities and challenges", APA reports quoting the website of the European Commission.
It is noted that this is an opportunity to reinvigorate EU-Azerbaijan relations and inject new momentum into bilateral negotiations for a Strategic Modernisation Partnership and an Association Agreement.
Barroso will today start his visit to Moldova. Then he will visit Georgia and Azerbaijan on June 13.
