The national anthems of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan were played. Azerbaijani President saluted Tajikistani soldiers. The heads of state reviewed the guard of honor.
Members of the Azerbaijani delegation were introduced to Emomali Rahmon and state and government officials of Tajikistan were introduced to the Azerbaijani President.
The guard of honor marched in front of the presidents to the accompaniment of a military march.
