Mubariz Aslanov – APA. “The Armenian leadership has restarted using a propaganda machine to achieve its insidious intentions,” Deputy Head of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, Head of the Foreign Relations Department Novruz Mammadov told APA while commenting on the statements of the Armenian leadership regarding the recent clashes on the line of contact.
Novruz Mammadov noted that the Armenian administration is trying to reassure themselves and confuse the international community through misinformation.
“They’re already used to such methods. And yet they shamelessly bring forth the international community’s system of values as criteria. As if it’s not them who have kept Azerbaijani lands under occupation for 25 years. But they’ve lost their minds so much so that they’re unable to comprehend what they’re doing,” he said.
The PA official added that over the past few days, the Armenian Armed Forces have made several attempts to commit acts of provocation on the contact line with Azerbaijani troops but got an adequate response.
“However, they still dare to accuse the Azerbaijani side and don’t feel tired of spreading misinformation and making statements full of slanders. But the Armenian administration has forgotten and missed one point; the Azerbaijani President and the Defense Minister have been outside the country during the last few days. So no military unit’s commander can take an individual action on their own while the Supreme Commander-in-Chief and the Defense Minister are not in the country”.
