The Foreign Ministry told APA that during the meeting they exchanged opinions about the current state and prospects of Azerbaijan-BP cooperation. They both expressed satisfaction with mutually beneficial energy cooperation and trust that exist between Azerbaijan and BP and stressed that this partnership has made the realization of large scale energy projects possible which contribute greatly to energy security of the European Union.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and BP's Group Chief Executive Robert Dudley emphasized huge potential of Trans Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) and Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) as these projects open up new opportunities for gas supplies to Europe and expressed hope that beneficial cooperation will continue and new energy projects will be finalized successfully.
