Baku. Anakhanum Idoyatova – APA. “Azerbaijan is holding meetings on a regular basis in order to be a member of the World Trade Organization. I’m pleased that these meetings are held more frequently nowadays”, said EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Malena Mard, APA reports.
“The European Union welcomes Azerbaijan’s accession to the WTO. Because this way will pave the way for further deepening of trade and economic cooperation. As you know, the European Union is the biggest trade partner of Azerbaijan. The steps that Azerbaijan is taking in order to be a member of the WTO is quite positive. We know that it’s a complex and time-consuming process. Luckily, the next meeting will be held in late June. At the same time, we’re observing that the dialogue is intensifying”.
